Friday 4th April 19:30
Scotland and whisky go hand in hand, we’ve been making (and of course drinking!) this magical stuff for centuries (and we’re rather good at it too!).
This whisky tasting traces back to the earliest times of illicitly produced Scotch, the invention of the Coffey Still, the focus on age statements and the now ever present focus on craft and locality (and much more!). We'll talk you through each of these historic moments in Scotch's history with 6x25ml drams to compliment each topic.
Line up:
Lindores Abbey Thiron Edition
Glenturret 7 Year Old Peated Smoked 2024
North Star 30 Year Old Invergordon Capella
LBD Wee Broon Electric Coo
Speyburn 15 Year Old
Springbank Local Barley 2025
Your Tasting Pack Includes:
6x25ml whisky samples
A Placemat (including Zoom info)
1 x Nairns Oatcakes
We host our tastings on Zoom so please leave an email address so we can send the meeting invite to you (you will also find this info on the placemat in your tasting pack.
On the evening we will present the drams, telling you a little bit about each one and where it comes from, with plenty of time for tasting notes too!
We can't wait to see you there - Sláinte!
